Scheduling & Patient Coordinator

The schedule is your system. The patients are your people.

Full-time4-day week$52K–$56K/year + incentivesMedical, Dental, 401K match, PTO

This position isn’t open today—but we’re always looking for the right person. Send your resume and we’ll be in touch when timing aligns.

This is not a volume-driven office. When the schedule runs well here, patients feel cared for—not processed. You’ll make that happen from first call to checkout.

The schedule isn’t a calendar—it’s the engine of the practice. You keep it running by filling the right slots, protecting production, removing obstacles before they become cancellations, and making every patient feel like the call was worth picking up.

What you’ll own

  • Scheduling hygiene and restorative care to hit daily production goals—not just fill slots
  • Outbound and inbound calls using AI tracking technology
  • Check-in and checkout: balances, treatment-plan presentation, and removing financial roadblocks
  • Asking for referrals in a way that feels natural, not scripted
  • Backup chairside assisting when the schedule needs it; one year of assisting experience preferred

You’re right for this role if

  • You’re energized by a fast front desk, not overwhelmed by it
  • Your phone skills are warm and direct, and you can handle objections without losing people
  • You anticipate what’s needed instead of waiting to be told
  • You know—or learn quickly—Carestack, Microsoft Office, and AI scheduling tools

Compensation: $52,000–$56,000/year + results-based incentives
Schedule: 4-day week, 7:30am–5:30pm, 1-hour lunch; alternating 4-day weekends
Requirements: 1 year of dental front desk or scheduling experience; Carestack a plus

Dental Assistant — Cross-Trained

You’re not just an assistant. You’re the reason the day runs.

Full-time4-day week$24–$26/hr + incentivesMedical, Dental, 401K match, PTO

This is not a volume-driven office. We work with two doctors, advanced technology, and a team that holds each other to a high standard. If you want a place where your skills are stretched, your growth is tracked, and your effort is rewarded—this is it.

We call our assistants NINJAs: “No, I’m Not Just an Assistant.” If that made you smile, keep reading.

What your day looks like

  • Four-handed chairside assisting with advanced technology—CBCT, 3D scanners, CO2 and diode lasers, and intraoral cameras
  • Delegated procedures including composites, provisionals, impressions, cord, sealants, whitening, and anything else you are trained in
  • Protecting the doctor’s time by staying one step ahead
  • Trust-transfer handoffs between clinical and front-office team members
  • Morning huddle at 7:45am so you know the day before it starts

This role is for you if

  • Technology excites you and you’re always trying to learn the next thing
  • You thrive on being the most prepared person in the room
  • You can work independently at chairside and handle any personality with warmth
  • You want to grow into leadership and will show it before you’re asked

Compensation: $24–$26/hr + incentives; 401K matching; HSA contributions
Schedule: We’ll discuss what is right for you; rotating schedule available
Requirements: 4 years of chairside assisting experience; front-office crossover a plus; EDDA preferred

Dental Hygienist — Part-Time and Full-Time

Long-term career. Not a temp gig.

Multiple days availablePrivate practiceCareer-track position

This is not a volume-driven office. We run on the Healthy Smile Baseline—a whole-health philosophy that connects what we see in the mouth to everything else happening in the body. If that’s how you already think, you’ll feel at home here.

We’re looking for a hygienist who sees the oral-systemic connection, presents it with confidence, and helps patients act on it.

What you’ll be doing

  • Running appointments with clinical autonomy within a team that backs you up
  • Identifying periodontal, restorative, occlusal, and airway concerns and connecting them to medical history
  • Motivating patients to act; same-day production starts in your chair
  • Presenting the Healthy Smile Baseline as something you believe, not as a script

You’re the right fit if

  • You see hygiene as a clinical specialty, not a cleaning service
  • You can talk confidently about airway, sleep, occlusion, and systemic health
  • You understand people just as much as bacteria—and love both
  • You want continuing education, growth, and a practice that invests back in you

Schedule: We’ll discuss what is right for you.
License: Active Colorado hygiene license and CPR certification; anesthesia and diode-laser experience preferred

Associate Dentist

Private practice. Real autonomy. A genuine path to ownership.

Dental Horizons is a relationship-driven, whole-health practice where patients choose care and clinicians grow into leaders. We make decisions that create a triple win for our patients, our practice, and our people.

The ownership path

Dr. Kelson is transitioning to sleep dentistry. This role is a genuine path to becoming the lead clinical owner of a practice that is already built, profitable, and running the right way. The associate role is designed to evolve into full practice ownership.

What you’re walking into

  • EDDAs trained to protect your chair time so you can focus on diagnosis and treatment
  • CBCT, 3D scanning, CO2 and diode lasers, crown milling, Nikon DSLR and intraoral cameras
  • A well-educated patient base that values dentistry and arrives ready to invest
  • Morning huddles at 7:45am with energy, context, and a clear plan
  • A team that reads, trains, and implements—not just talks about improving

This role is built for you if

  • You want to own a practice, not just work in one
  • You’re leaving corporate dentistry and want your clinical judgment respected
  • You believe oral and whole-body health are inseparable
  • You pursue continuing education and implement what you learn
  • Progress over perfection is a value, not a slogan

Compensation: Commission on net production
Schedule: 4 days/week, with a 4-day weekend every other week; 7:30am–5:30pm
License: Active Colorado DORA license; 4–7 years of experience preferred; clean disciplinary history

Office Manager / Director of Operations

Run the practice so the practice can grow.

Full-time$65K–$75K salary + $8K in incentivesMedical, Dental, PTO, 401K

This position isn’t open today—but we’re always looking for the right person. Send your resume and we’ll be in touch when timing aligns.

The Office Manager here doesn’t just keep the lights on—they set the standard, develop the team, and make sure every patient and employee experience reflects what Dental Horizons is building.

Dr. Kelson is growing this practice with intention. This role is for someone who can hold that vision operationally, lead with high emotional intelligence, run with data, and build systems that work without them in the room.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Patient experience at every touchpoint, from first call to follow-up
  • Team development through monthly one-on-ones, morning huddles, training, accountability, and culture
  • Building, communicating, and verifying systems and SOPs
  • Gathering, analyzing, and acting on monthly reports across departments
  • Facility, vendor, compliance, and technology oversight

You’re right for this role if

  • You’ve managed a dental office for 3+ years and understand the clinical and business sides
  • You lead with high emotional intelligence: coaching, confronting, and encouraging on the same day
  • You make decisions from reports, not gut feel
  • You can hold a standard without being rigid

Requirements: 5+ years of dental experience; 3+ years of dental-office management; dental PMS proficiency

Financial & Insurance Coordinator

Help patients say yes to the dentistry that changes their health.

Full-time4-day week$25–$28/hr + incentivesAlternating 4-day weekends

This position isn’t open today—but we’re always looking for the right person. Send your resume and we’ll be in touch when timing aligns.

We don’t push procedures—we help patients understand their health and make confident decisions. The Financial Coordinator removes the financial barriers that might otherwise keep a patient from moving forward.

Insurance is complicated. Most patients don’t understand their benefits, and when the financial conversation isn’t handled with skill and warmth, they don’t move forward with treatment. That’s where you come in.

What you’ll own

  • Benefits verification, daily claim submission, and AR monitoring with 30/60/90 ratios
  • Financial arrangements for complex treatment plans before treatment starts
  • CareCredit and membership-plan presentations that remove payment barriers
  • Past-due follow-up using protocols professionally, not with pressure
  • Keeping the team sharp on coding accuracy and financial documentation

You’re right for this if

  • Dental and medical billing feel like languages you speak fluently
  • You can ask patients for money and make it feel like help, not a transaction
  • Carestack and a well-organized AR report are already in your toolkit

Compensation: $25–$28/hr + incentives; Medical, Dental, PTO, 401K
Schedule: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday rotating; 7:30am–5:30pm
Preferred: Carestack; medical billing for sleep appliances a plus
